Jackpot Shows
NL FFA advisors attend 1 local jackpot show in the fall semester and 1 local jackpot show in the spring semester with the students. The actual jackpot shows we will attend are announced closer to time as the fliers are published. Usually we attend the fall Chisum preview show at the fairgrounds and the Roxton Classic in the spring at Roxton fairgrounds. We will assist in hauling livestock to those 2 shows if the students signs up for hauling assistance.

We print and hang up jackpot fliers on the message board in the Ag Department hallway throughout the school year. However there is a ton of information on the internet regarding various shows to attend.

Below is the link to the Area 6 FFA Association website. It has a running Calendar of Events that posts most of all the jackpot shows in our area. Use this as a reference to find upcoming jackpot shows for you and your family to attend! Area 6 Webpage 
Also, we encourage you to join various Facebook and social media groups for the additional announcements on jackpot shows for your species. ( i.e. The Pig Barn, Texas Jackpot Shows, ETRBA Rabbit Breeders Assoc., Texas Livestock Shows, Texas Show Goat & Lamb Forum, Texas Show Cattle, etc.)
